Ford Model A's for Sale
1929 Ford Model A Roadster - Photo License The first Model A Ford was first produced on May 20, 1927 and was extremely successful for the Ford Company. The pervious Model T had been produced for 18 years and now a newer model was needed. It would be great if you could go back in time and purchase one of these cars. The cheapest Roadster and Coupe models started at $385.00 and the highest end models went for the costly price of $1400.00 for the Sedan, Convertible and the Deluxe Coupe.

One of the movies this car was featured in was the 1955 "Hot Rod Lincoln." This film and others helped make this vehicle a favorite with collectors in our day. On this page you will find many of these Hot Rods, trucks, pick ups, parts and service manuals for sale. 1930, 1929, 1928, 1927 too. I heard a story about Henry Ford. One day he was driving one of his plain black models when he got a flat tire. He had to get help getting into town where he could get another tire to replace the flat one. It took the whole day but he enjoyed the experience. It was a change of pace from his usual day and was a pleasant outing for him.

The reason why he found it enjoyable was that he could afford the time. This was his day off and he had plenty of money to fix the problem. He was not able to really experience what one of his customers might have felt on having a flat because he was not bothered by it.

This story has been used to illustrate someone who cannot really feel what another person might experience. Most would have been worried about the expense or worried that they would be late to something or just put out because they had lost so much time.
